Homemade Pesto Sauce
Ingredients
Large bunch basil
50g vegetarian parmesan cheese
150ml extra virgin olive oil
2 garlic cloves
Crème fraiche
Method
- Whizz all the ingredients in a food processor and gently mix through enough crème fraiche to make the sauce creamy.
- Stir through cooked pasta (we do not use salt in cooking) and serve!
- Children who are not permitted dairy will have their dish prepared with a dairy free alternative to crème fraiche
